THE PEOPLE YOU’LL MEET

Your journey as a caregiver for a stroke survivor will take you to many places: the hospital, therapy, doctors’ offices. Along the way, you both will meet many important people, all of whom are involved in some way in your loved one’s journey toward recovery. You may find it confusing or difficult to keep track of everyone and their role in your loved one’s care.

NEUROLOGIST
A doctor who specializes in identifying and treating diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles, including spasticity.
